Harley iPod Adapter fit new iPod pins?

I just ordered a Boom Audio iPod adapter and I am waiting to get it put in next week, but when I bought my iPod it has a new "lightning" adapter and I wonder will it fit? Does anyone know? THanks.

I was also wondering about this. Worst case is that they do make an adapter to plug a 30 pin cable into the Lightning slot.

Info on adapter

I was wondering the same thing. My new i-phone has the new lightning plug, and my bikes controller has the old 30 pin plug. I got nervous and sold my old 3g 8 gig phone on e-bay and bought me a 64 gig i-pod touch 4th gen with the 30 pin plug. I now have enough space to put 14,000 songs on it, so I should be good to go for awhile, I hope. I haven't read any thing about if the new connectors will work with old controllers. I think you have to use the earphone plug to get audio out on the new apple stuff. But I would like to know for sure also.

You will have to use the adapter for the legacy 30 pin connector to the lightening plug. However, the control functions should work identically.

Moved to the audio section.
