Painting HW ZX speaker?

Anyone ever try to paint the ZX speakers? I'm wondering if the red can be painted over to match my bike.

What kind of paint would you use that would be flexible enough to withstand the Hz and vibration? Also seems that it may affect the sound quality.

are you thinking soy based fabric tint? not sure, but since the speakers
repel water, I'd think they'de repel the tint also

maybe find someone to trade you for some black ones

Re: Painting HW ZX speaker?

Hmmmm... Was thinking that the red was paint and might be able to be painted over.

red ones are awesome, if you have a red themed bike, like myself

I'd love to say, trade me, mine are new, yours are new

that might be an option, lets both give it some thought.
