6.5 speaker pods

Has anyone tried putting 6.5 speakers in either the stock HD rear pods or the Hogtunes rear pods? If its on here already I couldnt find the answer.

SideCarCycles just released their tour pack adapters that mount onto the stock tour pack pods to mount a 6.5 speaker. I just put an order in for them. Here is the link

Check the manufacturer's websites for dimensions on the speakers you're interested in. You will find that a lot of 6.5" speakers will fit perfectly in the lower pods and rear tourpak pods with no modifications other than maybe drilling new screw holes

Morning John.. do you know by chance if anyone makes just the lower pods that can be used WITHOUT the entire lowers assembly?

There are a couple of them out there that mount on the crash bar, but they all seem to look like mouse ears IMO. The lower fairings make it flow a bit better.

yeah kinda firgured as much. :-(

I hate lowers.. especially in texas.
