worried about water inner fairing (amp)

So... I added a gps mount to one of the gauge holes and I was going to drill a small hole to feed the power cord through but I am worried I'll provide a convenient spot for water to access the inner fairing.

Normally I wouldn't be tooooooo concerned but now that the fairing houses a Hawg Wired amp I am.

You could probably use a grommet around the cord to help it seal.

Garage
Use the grommet and keep it lower in the fairing. Also remember to use clear RTV silicone to seal it off.

Red Pepper/Magnetic Grey CVO with KST black 14" apes and a quick detach TP.
