Radio Info

I just got a new 2017 RG. My question is , I'm hard of hearing. Will I hurt anything by running volume up all the way. Blow speakers or anything?

Let them blow! You have warranty! Haven't blown mine yet, I crank them all the time. Got my bike in February.

You can turn them up as loud as you want, no issues. If you're already hard of hearing, the factory system will be very difficult to hear at hi way speeds. Even with a good windshield, the factory system is barely adequate.

The stock Rushmore audio system is pathetic. In order to hear it you really need an amp, line leveler, and speakers.

I recommend upgrading speakers & adding an amp. Lots of threads. You can go easy but more expensive HD Boom. Or you can go after market. Also check your settings there is one for auto volume adjust, max it out.
