Road Tech 650 on 6.5 Boom Box

Anyone using a Road Tech Zumo 650 with the 6.5 Infotainment system? Looks like you can add the 3.5mm Auxiliary Input Kit. The instructions say you can have the Digital Tech set a HD Zumo for itís own media device and it will interrupt with GPS directions and also play audio.

Iím pondering a 17 or 18 and would like to keep using my 650 because it also has the XM on it.

Anyone have any experience on how this works?

Thanks!
