Dynamat in Fairing

Lined the inside of my Fairing with Dynamat. Iíve seen some precut kits out there were a little pricey. Hopefully this will work.

Being new to the world of RG's I'm not familiar with dynamat for the inside of the fairing. Please advise.

Depending on what you have installed as regards amps and speakers this should make a difference.

You shouldn't be able to fell much vibration on your fairing when it's pumping.

By the way you should also install this dynamat on your speaker pods.

I have Upgraded Amp and Speakers. I will probably wrap the speaker pods as well.

I had my 2011 RGU until last year and did nothing with the audio (man, I can hear the snickering from here!), but that should change this spring with the 2018. Thanks for sharing, and I too will be looking for the reviews.

I put the dyne mat in my fairing during my last audio mod (3rd time). I didn't compare the new set up with and without the dyna mat, so its impossible to say how much difference it made sound wise. It did "tighten" the fairing up though. Meaning, less rattling and vibration.

I did this on my 2010 back in 2011, it does make a difference. The price some companies want for a pre cut kit is absolutely ridiculous.

The less rattling and vibration is the main reason to do it, acoustics are better also.
