Hello new members
Hi I have 17 road glide s and already have biketronics 4x180 amp and can not decide on what speaker I am looking at the Hertz Mille 1650.3 or the sv165 or the 165.1
I know the sv165 are loud just donít think they will sound that good been a loud speaker
I hope the 1650.3 would sound great

Any one have any input

The Hertz SV 165.1 are the perfect compliment to a 2 or 3 way speaker. Great for lowers. Your first set of speakers should have tweets but your second set should just be mids.

The ml 1650.3 is an awesome speaker, been running them for a year. Pricey, but awesome. Great sound and plenty of volume. Pair nice with the mp25.3 tweets, but again pricey. Would like to try them with an ES9 tweet but havenít done it yet.

The Mille 165.3 are a good coax, but not in the same league with the 1650.3. As far as coax goes I prefer the moto 602 as better sounding, but the Mille 165.3 gets louder.

As was already mentioned the sv 165 isnít a full range speaker. Great fill for lowers to add some volume at hwy speed, but not really an option for a front fairing.

2018 CVO RG lava orange, 117 Stage 3, 14" F47 and a few chrome extras. Boom crap gone.
2016 RG Special Cosmic Blue, 120ST with Dragos 2:1 and TTS tuner, FBI drop seat kit and JNR air ride. Stock audio long gone.

I have the 165.3 mille pro in the the fairing and the arc audio 600.4 amp. I will not be adding any additional speakers, sounds great!
