Hertz HCX-690

I just bought a set of HCX-690ís and a pair of adapter rings to put these in my bags. Iím running 4 SV 165ís in the front fairing with a set of ST 25 horns. Iím pushing them all with 2 Diamond Audio Micro 4v2ís with an Alpine 149BT. Iím hoping these 6x9ís will sound better than my HAT 5x7ís. I had a guy tell me the Hertz 6x9ís wonít last if they get wet because of the post design of the tweeter? I know a ton of guys run these in their bags. Iím looking for some feedback on what people have experienced before I install them. Many thanks.

I’ve had the HCX 690s in my bags for probably 5 years. Trust me, they have been quite wet a few times. I usually open the bags to let any excess water drain out, but they still work and sound really good.
