Stage 2 Boom Audio

I added the Boom Audio to the fairing only at this point. It sounds pretty good and has plenty of volume. May add it to the bags later. Here is a short listen for those that haven’t heard it.

Did you install yourself? What do you think now? I don't think there's a huge difference between stage 1 and 2. It's a grand for stage two parts on 19 rgs. I could just pop the amp in for stage 1 cz speakers are already there.

Oh boy. Here come the haters.

I have it in my RGU and for the little bit of money I have in the upgrade from the Boom I, I like it.

its all what you like, people will bash anything if they feel they have better...if you like it rock on. people have said crap about my aftermarket system also but to me its great.

the great thing about owning a Harley is the custom options to make it YOURS

Bellboy. I assume you needed 4 stage 2 speakers and at least another amp. I haven't been able to verify if amp in stage 2 is same as stage one. So you were at a grand in parts.

Correct. Needed the 2nd amp and 4 speakers as mine came with one amp already. Also needed wiring harnesses and the amp mounting kit for under the TP. Long story short. I have around $650 total in my upgrade. Found slightly used parts (amp and speakers) on Facebook 5 minutes after the guy posted them.

The way I understand it: my '18 RGS comes stock w/factory stage 1, which is upgraded mid tier speakers using the head unit amp-150w. Stage II upgrades the speakers to a upper tier(CVO) and adds the fairing amp-300w(disabling head unit amp via dealer digital technician).

Currently it sounds decent sitting but weak while riding. Streaming improves the sound quality. I think adding the XM module would help.

Been toying around with bumping up to stage 2, wondering if it was worth the effort for the right price(slightly used).

I think the Stage II would sound good enough...just worry about reports of the speakers blowing
