2019 Roadglide with Boom box gts want it loud!

Hello I’m looking to upgrade my sound system on my Roadglide. I ordered some extended bags with speaker lid covers. I want to go with some better speakers and I was hoping I can run everything off one amp if possible. I love the Boom GTS headunit so what parts will I need if I want a louder system any help will be greatly appreciated

There are a ton of discussions here you can search for and I am sure there isn't much difference between the 2018 and 2019 systems when it comes to upgrades.

To start, if you are going to stick with the HD head unit you will need to buy the Biketronics Line Levelers or LOC's so you can use an AMP as plug and play. Then it is a matter of what amp and speakers you want to use.

I would recommend just searching these forums and making your own choices because just like exhaust, bars and seats.....sounds is all about personal perspective and different for each of us. You will like what you like while I like what I like and they might not be the same.

Lastly, BUDGET comes into play like no other when it comes to sound. If you have the money, there is some serious ways to get the sound you want. But that is all up to you.

As already mentioned, your budget will drive the combo. Loud is very easy to do. Loud with sound quality under a variety of conditions and genres of music, well welcome to the audio unicorn hunt.

I have been searching multiple forums on this topic but I had plenty of questions and didn’t want to hi jack someone else post out of respect. Some of the questions I mainly have is since I want to add speakers to my saddle bags do I need just one line leveler or 2 line levelers?

As stated above by Roadie, sound is subjective.... Budget, quality of sound and what 2 or 4 channel amps to buy, or even placement of speakers....My experiences with my sound started with the old Radio sound HU with Hogtunes, then came a Arc mini amp with 6 1/2 speaks, better or worst? Then changed HU to Alpine CDE 147, Bluetooth everything and a Biketronics 2180 Hertz in fairing only....Better or worst? 1 or 2? Is this a eye test or what?
Then made the moved to Lowers instead of pods in TP or lids in saddlebags....Best decision ever!!! To hertz 6.5 in lowers and 7.1 pro's in Fairing with BT 4180 Amp....Better or, much Better-most excellent....The END.
First off, like to say, Pay once, cry once...I wheeled and deal other components to get where I am now and with a lifetime warranty sold me. I used it once with a blown left speaker, sent it back and got the newest version of the 7's Pro's, sounds killer...
There are "better" products out there, JL, Rockford Fosgate, Focal, Arc Moto, Biketronics, Diamond, CV, Soundstream, PRV's, MMat's, etc... Lifetime warranty is a plus, no worries, be happy.

Some budget friendly setups:

CV B52 amp about 150.00
Polk Mm652 speakers 199.00
BT Line leveler 80.00

or possibly

CV B54 amp about 175.00
Arc Moto 602 speakers 379.00

BT Line leveler 80.00
bridge the amp, the 602's like watts

Additionally, you'll need 2 6' power wires, an inline fuse and Stinger 1.5 RCA's

or this, not so much budget:

Beyma 6CX200Nd coax's in fairing, MMats PA 601.4's in lower pods, DD VO M6x9's in bags, MMats MD4100, Stinger SPC700/4, DD Audio DSI-2 DSP

GOOD LUCK IN CHASING THE UNICORN....Keep us posted.

I need louder! Only using fairing speakers and no intention of lower or saddlebag additions.

My new question is should I spend the extra money on the dsp1 or just use the bt355 line leveler. I don’t really won’t to bother with dealers to try and get a flash done.

If all you're looking for is louder and a good upgrade, stick to the B355 unless you have cash to burn and willing to work through the learning curve of a DSP. That would be my recommendation anyway. Even if you're willing to drop the coin, and learn how to effectively use a DSP, you'll still need an extra space to mount it in the fairing somewhere. Then, anytime you're tempted to jack with it, well off comes the fairing again.
