2017 Road Glide Special amp questions

I have a buddy that just picked up a 2017 Road Glide. He has a Soundstream Picasso Amp and would like to know if it is possible to fit this in the fairing. According to the google the dimensions are 4.8 x 9 x 1.5. I am not familiar with the 2017 and would appreciate the feedback.

Thanks

The Soundstream 520D will fit underneath the radio. Barely.. And I do mean barely.
My experience is with a 2015 RGS. Should be the same.

Thanks for the response. Does it line up front to back or sideways under the radio?

Barely is the truth! It's hard to hook up the wires without them rubbing. I had mine in and out 3 times before I could leave it alone. Might be that I was using monster wire for the speakers.

I put mine in right side up with the controls facing the front. I bent the mounting tabs up and it helped with fitment.

The bent tabs helped for some magic reason.

I think that's a good idea. I'm going to try it this spring when I take the fairing off again. Maybe even cut them off.
