Angry I'm at Wit's End!!!

2016 FLTRUSE with Stage II, Thundermax ECU, 6.5 GT, stored with battery tender. This weekends 700 mile ride started Friday with no AM/FM/Media/Satelite. Only CB/Intercom working. Adjusting volume the display for "Prompts" was displayed, not "Volume". Ten mile into the ride, as I am slowing and down shifting the engine dies & won't restart. Popping the clutch brought me to a stop. Turning the ignition off & on again, there was no change. Only after turning off the ignition and letting the bike sit for 20-30 seconds she restarted. Through the day, aprox 50% of the time when starting I would get no good time radio. Twice, i even had no CB/Intercom.
Saturday, the same scenarios repeated, though as we continued to ride, the No radio scenario would repeat less frequently.
Today, Sunday, I start with all systems working. We ride across a fairy, restarting, I am now in No CB/Intercom scenario. At a stop I turn the bike off, and restart, all systems are go. No "good time radio" scenadio repeated twice through the day.
Though the weekend I had no further problems running or keeping an idle.

Is it the GT 6.5 Infotainment Center going Fritz? Or is it the ThunderMax teasing the GT 6.5 system? Or something else? As the entire bike gets warmer things seem to operate better, so the connection is better.

First thing I would check is to make sure the battery terminals are tight.

what circuit did you wire the thundermax into? what other accessories and where did you wire them into? Something loose somewhere, or chafed, or stretched wire?

Shouldn't have anything to do with the aftermarket ecm. As suggested, check your battery connections. Then I would start looking at and applying dielectric grease to wiring loom connectors. Most likely you will see visual signs of "rust tracks" between pins/holes in connectors where moisture attacks over time. If the 6.5 is first to exhibit problems, I would start there. Fixed electrical issues on several bikes this way. YMMV

Up Date. . .
Went on 3 day, 800 mile ride. Things got worse. Took it to the local shop. They wiped the info center, then reloaded the latest update. 1.22.02. Now they can’t duplicate the issue. If it ain’t fixed, I have my eyes on a new 2018 left over.

If the scooter was totally dead, there should be some fault codes.

Past that main power circuit would be the most likely suspect.

The scooter never went totally dead. I did not see any codes during or afterwards...

Did you hook your PC up and see if anything was showing in the code tables?

An electrical issue that affects the radio and shuts the scooter off is either two separate issues or something to do with main power. You might want to pull the main and look for water damage in the socket, there have been a few reports of water attacking the panel.

I agree with the battery cables, then common powers and common grounds line of thought. Otherwise you're gonna end up pretty deep down the rabbit hole.
