Issues with 2015 Boom GT

Okay I know this system is SLOWWWWWW as heck to start up so that isn't what I am complaining about.

Here is what is happening and I am taking my bike in for other work so just curious if I should talk to them about this also. I just got done doing a 10 day ride to South Dakota and back to Washington. 4 times while riding the navigation system would tell me it was calculating the route and then there would be NO sound. My music would stop playing and until I stopped the bike, turned off the engine and then restart the bike I would have no music. The next issue is that 1/3rd of the time when I went to start the bike up when I had been listening to music from a thumbdrive it would switch to radio instead of going back to the USB.

So are these problems normal or is there something else going on?

Hmmm, mine started to have these same problems awhile back, which I attributed to the amp possibly dieing.
Sometimes on startup the sound would die within a few seconds, or just randomly die while riding.
Hadn't done it for a couple weeks, then the morning we left Iowa for SW it wouldn't work for the first couple gas stops, mid-day
the sound came back, but I noticed i only had sound from one speaker front and rear for the rest of the trip.

Pulled the amp out of the fairing last night, disassembled it to find a couple quarter sized piles of smoke inside...........

I'm taking the bike in on 5 Sept to have my 117" kit installed along with the 10K service done so I'll see what HD has to say about the issues I am having. They may just try to play it off but I got the ESP when I bought the bike so???

This is the same issue I've had since day one, got the 'we can't duplicate the issue'

Haven't seen an update for a while either. Let us know if there is a fix...

Well as others said I got the "It needs an update response" when I asked them about this issue with my bike. According to the tech I didn't have the latest update on my radio even though I had used the latest update off the HD site.

They updated my radio and so far it seems to have fixed my issues but it's only been a week and I have only ridden it 3 times. So once I get a few more rides on the bike and try stuff out I'll report back. It might not be until next spring since I only have about 2 months at the most left to ride this year.

Mine was doing the same thing, just dying with no sound. Stop for lunch and upon restarting bike everything was okay. Put up with it for months, finally when I had it in for blown speakers I had them look at it. The amp was bad and replaced under my ESP.....BUT it was replaced with a reconditioned amp and not a new one. Was unhappy about that, but Iam over it and no problems the last 18 months.

As far as the changing the input on restart....LOL
2 updates ago fixed that issue on mine, now with the latest update its back again!
Iam not sure what the latest update was suppose to fix, as I had no issues. But I did the latest update with the CVO update, and now the bike restarts on AM radio, instead of the usb stick. But I have the cool CVO start up screen, which I make sure all the CVO owners I know, see
