I put a set in my lowers this summer, they are very clear and loud.

hmm, interesting. I have the 602v2's now, wonder how much better they'd sound? What did you have?

There was some pot on them on the other forum a while ago also.
I had the 602. They want a ton of power to get them to sound right

I just put the lowers on this summer so no previous speakers down there.

Arc audio amp and hertz milli pro speakers up top, they really fill in well.

They took a beating on the other forum but I think a couple of guys were able to get them to play well. Not sure if it took a DSP or just amp/speaker combination.

The “old” 602 V2 was my favorite coax with great mids and overall SQ, just took a ton of power and didn’t get quite loud enough for long days on the slab. If they had better sensitivity would probably still be running them, everything is a trade off.

Freedom isn't free, remember to thank a vet.
2018 CVO RG lava orange, 117 Stage 3, 14" F47 and a few chrome extras. Boom crap gone.
2016 RG Special Cosmic Blue, 120ST with Dragos 2:1 and TTS tuner, FBI drop seat kit and JNR air ride. Stock audio long gone.

Curious as to what you all mean by lots of power. I have the old V2's running of a Daimond 2v2. I really don't have a problem with sound output as long as the source quality is good, and it sounds even better now that I've swapped out the HU for the Sony 5000, I suspect thought that I'm leaving something on the table power wise.

I have the 602v2's and they work well enough for my BT4180.14. It's true that they sound better at a higher volume and need a lot of power. The construction and durability of them are also really nice features. I don't have any other experience with speakers other than the Polks in my lowers (which are more sensitive but sound quality isn't as good as the Motos).
