bluetooth connection on the 2019?

I have been using Amazon Music from my phone while riding, of course this is linked by bluetooth.

For months and months it worked perfectly, showed me the song that was playing on the dash screen.

All of a sudden last week, the songs are not showing, they are playing ok but it doesn't show the name of the song on the dash screen.

Any idea on what to do to get this back working?

Thanks for any advice, I am not very good with the bluetooth but I know the bike is connected to the phone because it will play the songs just fine just does not show the information that it did before.

That's strange

I don't have an answer but a question.

Why don't you just plug your phone in using a cable.

The volume will louder as well verse connecting with bluetooth and the song titles will show on your screen.

Let us know how it works out in case someone else has the same issues.

Its just handy to not plug the phone in and the bike has this feature so it should work.
If the bike has an issue I want it fixed under warranty also.

I do appreciate the suggestion.
My guess is that its the phone and not the bike but I have no way to prove this at this time.

I guess I need to find another phone to test this theory.

Funny thing you post this as I just had an opposite problem. I have always used the USB plug to play Pandora and like SWO stated the volume was louder and it also displayed the songs on the screen. During my last trip for some reason it would no longer play through the stereo speakers on the bike. It would show the songs on the screen but no sound through the bikes speakers. In fact it would still play through the phone speakers even though it was plugged in. If I disconnected the cord and connected via Bluetooth it would work fine but then the phone isn't charging. Tried different cords and tried cleaning the port on the phone but nothing worked. A few days after I got home I decided to go out to the garage to see if I could figure out what the issue is and when I plugged in my phone it worked as it should with no issue. I'm completely baffled but glad it's working now. I hope you can get an answer to the issue you're having.

I agree it should work

I'm sure the dealer will be able to fix you up if someone doesn't chime in here.

As I was re-reading what I had just typed this^^^ popped into my head. I think it's worth a shot. When I got home from the trip I remember that there was an OS update for my iPhone so I updated it. Now it may not be the update that fixed my issue it could have been just turning the phone off then back on acted as a hard re-set and corrected things. Who knows...?

Delete the phone setting from your radio and re-pair it. It could be a bunch of different issues. How old is the phone?

As for the volume issue you are experiencing.

If I put my phone volume all the way up BEFORE I conenct by bluetooth and THEN adjust the bike volume it goes very loud but I have to do it in that order. If the phone volume is down then I can max out the bike volume and its still not up, just something weird that I have noticed.

I have rebooted/restarted the phone several times, that did not help.
Also "unpaired" and paired again, no help.

It is shit like this that makes a bluetooth connection very annoying to me, its connected but still decides to not work correctly.

This is an android phone less than a year old if that helps anyone help me.

The volume thing is kind of a PITA. But you should only have to do the volume 1 time and then the phone "SHOULD" remember the volume setting when pairing with that device. At least iPhones do.

Do you have the ability to Bluetooth to another car'/truck radio? It maybe the streaming app you are using....was there a resent update with it?
