New Harley Owner stereo advice

Looking to build a better sounding system for my 2019 Road Glide. I'm well versed in audio but not for a bike. I have started buying things based on my preference in sound and equipment that I've used in my car stereo world. Looking for advice in some areas. I have 602V2 for the fairing. RF DSP. Looking for advice on amp and 6X9's for the bags. I will add a subwoofer sooner or later. I like the American Hard Bag kits. What Id like to accomplish upfront is a nice clean and warm sound for my ride. Lots of you guys are experts so I'm looking for advice.

Sounds like you have a plan already... but need to share Soundz with you... I'm a dealer for them in Reno,NV. I do a lot of systems from 98 Present model year. I have made all customers extremely pleased with these systems. Power, clarity and performance are top notch. Here is just on example why I have people driving up to 9 hours to get a system from me

Good for you for doing it yourself and getting the sound that you want.
As for subs, mid bass drivers is what you want. Unless its a comp bike.
Options are endless for speakers now a days for bike audio. On the other forum there is a huge audio section, there is a video thread. Throw the headphones and listen to some systems and get some ideas.
Guys that are serious about audio, there a few brands that come up frequently. In no particular order PRV, Ground Zero, Beyma, MMats, and a few more.

Amp wise, Sound Digital, MMats, Stinger and a few more.

Plan this well. What wiring strategy are you going to use, how many amps, what ohm speakers, etc.

This is going to be a good one to follow!

Don't know where you are located but there are some shops that can set you up with what you want. Funk shop has a bunch of videos online you can check out, mild to wild. Lucky 7, same deal. These guys build from riders to comp bikes and know what will work for you

It looks like You have a great plan in "The Works" Brother.
For amps, the go to, so to say, in no special order are: Stinger 700.4., NVX VADM2, Soundigital and Massive Audio TX48.
I am running three Soundigital Amps in My 2012 Custom and love them.
As far as 6x9's the MMats PA690.4cx get great reviews and the Diamond Audio 6x9 Coaxial and The Ground Zero 7x10 are other decent choices.
Best of Luck and keep Us posted on what You do.

Pulled the trigger on a Massive TX48 today. Starting to shape up. DSR1. MOTO602V2 in fairing, Massive TX48. Trying to decide on what 6X9's . May add horns adapters to lids.

What are you going to put in the bags, 8s or 10s? Mike U has experience with this and 6x9s. See what he has to say before you pull the trigger on anything. Bag air space can be a issue

Erby, I have PRV Audio 8MB600FT in My Bags with HAT U692V2 6x9's in The Lids and the sound is very good.
I think the MMats PA690.4cx will also play nice in The Lids with 8's in The Bags.
As Philly stated, Air Space comes into play when using 10's in The Bags and 6x9's in The Lids.
If You go on "The Audio Section of The Other Forum" there are many very knowledgeable Audio Gurus who can set You in "The Right Direction".
Best of Luck!
