inner speaker fitments

does anyone know if polk audio db651s speakers will fit in the inner fairing, inward position as neano has done.

I see a version of rockford fosgate's do fit.

what are the constraints? above and behind, inches?

Dude I sent ya a pm. But the 'Issue' we had was the Speaker Grills, not the Speaker.
What u see in my pics is the grills from the 'Prime' speaker series of the RF line of speakers. With these grills mounted up, as seen in my pics of the inner fairing speakers thread, the inner fairing "Did Not" have to b spaced out at all!, and everything cleared, triple tree hsing,.as if it was a stock modification.

When I get everything back from the Painter I'll post up sum b/4 and after pics. It will look A-1! imho

I looked at the speaker depth on the Polks for ya tho, and they r deeper than the RF's by like an 1/8 of an inch.

from what I've seen, yes I was thinking about having to get some flatter grilles.

don't actually have the stuff yet, but it's on it's way. saw a video online of what's in the box, might come with some generic 5 to 6" adapter plates

http://www.polkaudio.com/downloads/d...inedrawing.pdf

the back spacing is just under 2 inches

the front just under 1/2, 1 inch with the grills on

gee I hope these fit

I'm going to go back and re-read the original thread.
