Aftermarket radio install options

I'm planning on replacing the stock H/K radio with my Alpine IDA-X100M radio with the Alpine KTP-445 digital amplifier.

I've read about the Hawg Wired as well as the biketronics radio install kits (including the interface for the handlebar controls).

Is one better from the other? Please provide feedback on your experience with either of the two.

Also, if others have used a different kit with success, please reply as well.

Thanks in advanced for any feedback....

the hawg wired kit uses a true insert for the radio much more secure , i would guess the electronics are almost identical. for the $10 difference the hawg kit is far superior, imo.

I have that same radio and went with the Biketronics kit. Very easy to install. The reason I went with Biketronics is the fact their kit lets you ulitlize the Automatic Volume Control which I like.
