Fader Flash - what'dja pay

Stopped by the dealer in Sanford, asked about the fader flash
they said the "flash" was free but required a 1/2 hour of labor
at $50 per half.

Wow $50 to remove the side cover, hook up a programmer
and turn on a feature..

Not happening...

I might try and get mine included in the price of a '5k mi.' service.

btw, are you talking about your MNX inputs.

I checked my hk radio software and they have a new release.

Colorado Springs HD / Pikes Peak HD - $50 for Fader Flash.... Something my friggin' Screamin' Eagle should have come with in the first place.

Still haven't done it myself. Just being stubborn.

Bandit I agree, $50 for half hour labor to set a radio
option.

man wish there was a way around it so we could do
it ourselves.

I'd give the tech $20, in fact I might just ask a tech to do it for
$20 cash..

I had the dealer do it during my service, no charge. Also added the bass ports to the Tour-pak, made a nice difference on the bass response.

Easy install, takes less then an hour.

Flash to HK radio to enable Fader control for 4 speakers

If you didn't get an Ultra with 4 speakers HD doesn't put the fader option
in the controls, so you have to get a tech to flash the HK so basically half
hour labor...

Just left mine the way it is... doesn't matter speakers are up front anyway.
