Need a lil guidance and info on amp selection

Ok so I'm not a huge tune freak and wanting a 1000 watt system, I did however change out the stock speakers from my 12 RGC to the HD Boom speakers and was pleased with the increased clarity tho I'm now wanting a just lil more kick. Just a tad of power to boost these up some more, should I go with the HD amp or another brand? I'm looking for plug and play and also is there a recomended bracket I should pruchase from another company who might make a better quality amp bracket that what is given to me in the kit? I'm just looking for a simple small amp that is easy to install and will give me no headache and a lil more power to listen to my tunes.

oh no, another audio question
You said plug and play, you'll pay for the convenience. There are a lot of amp choices out there. Suggest you search the audio threads, your answer lies within. I am sure others will post their opinions, but they are just that, their opinions on what worked best for them based on their wants and needs. If you go Rockford Fosgate, H-Donut makes and sells a bracket. You can adapt it for other brands\models as well. Good luck on your project, the only advice I'll give is consider replacing the stock HK head unit. HUGE difference after I put that POS on the shelf.

Ok thanks for the input, I've been searching here and my head is all dizzy from the various posts of what people were asking for. lol I was thinking Rockford and if H-donut makes a quality bracket that may be a good route. I just know from experience that basically everything is a higher quality that what HD sells.

I just installed the Hawg Wired RS-400 amp on my RG, for what you are wanting, the RS-300 would work just fine. It is a plug and play system and includes all the mounting hardware.

It is good for four or two OHMS on your speakers...NOT for one OHM speakers

Hawg Wired

I am a fan - not exactly plug and play but not difficult. Easy to mount under fairing and customer service is great.

Enjoy the Ride!

Thanks guys, I'll be checking into the J&M and Hawg Wired stuff real soon! I don't wanna add anymore speakers, just want an amp to push the two I have upfront a lil harder.

If your not planning on adding any more speakers then J&M's 250w amp will be perfect.
