radio

Is every body happy that the went with a aftermarket radio? trying to figuar out if I should have my stock head unit repaired or go with a after market.
I already have J+M 7.25" speakers and a Rockford fosgate amp. Head unit is messed up and can have it fixed for about $250 or thinking of going with a alpine head unit and biker tronics to install

I like my Sony with the tune tray and biketronics install kit. I think its a Sony DSX-MS30. I don't like that I am always worried about someone stealing the face plate but I would not go back to the stock HK unit.

I had a display issue on my HK head unit @1200 miles. Swapped out radio at the dealer. Im about to get rid of it on ebay and install a Kenwood or Apline.

v-twin audio, hawg wired, biketronics and scorche are the brands that make installation parts

I would definately go with an aftermarket deck again. I have hawg wired install kit, harness, and have used pioneer and alpine decks and they all sound great.
