Possible Bluetooth fix
Hey everyone. Just started wearing my helmet again, and wanted to add a bluetooth headset to the RG. The only solution HD has is to use the Zumo, which I do not own, to the tune of about $1000 dollars to add it. I think I have come up with a work around to make it work for about $150. First it requires the switched heaphone mod from Ironcrossaudio.com ($100) and then add the J&M Audio JBLU-DNG02 bluetooth transmitter or similiar ($69.99) to get it to your choice of headsets. Just wanted to throw this out there and see what everyone thought. Do you think it would work, or is there a better way to do it? Has anyone seen a bluetooth tranmitter that is 12v powered vs. battery? Just a thought. As an added bonus depending on your headset choice, there is also the intercom function on most of them now eliminating the need for wires and still gaining the headset and intercoms without to much hassle.
