Metra Antenna Install Advice

I am going to be replacing the factory antenna with the Metra under the fairing on my 2010 RG.

Where is the best place to mount the antenna?

As far as power I was told to tap off of the lighter, does anyone have a suggestion for a grounding point?

Thank you

In my installs I use the cig lighter power and ground, Mounting below the center of the inner fairing above the radio.

Can one of you provide some more detail on the Mentra antenna (product/model number)? A photo of the install would be cool too. Thanks!

I went with Metra Deluxe Universal Amplified Antenna (P/N CK-UA200), it looks just like the HD antenna less the HD logo. I was able to get power from the red capped connector (if I remember correctly I believe the wire was orange with a white stripe) which is located approximately 4" down below the left side connector of the radio when facing the front of the bike. See the link below for pics.
