As far as i'm concerned Hawg Wired is the only choice. It works great with no problems. The biketronics unit is alright but you have to bypass with the speakers if running an amp to avoid the AVC.

you can turn the AVC off, hold the control button in for 8 second, wait 4 seconds with no input and hold the control button for another 4 seconds

the intermediate 4 seconds is where you would give the unit feedback on the amount of AVc control required 1-18, factory default is 8

I'm not going by the manual, that's just what works for me

I have Hawgwired and am very happy with it, but from what I've heard Crutchfield also sells a unit and at a very good price.

Thanks all, I am looking into it and also thinking about just going with the Kicker http://www.kicker.com/pxi502
Does anyone have any experience with this?

All I ever play is my tunes don't care about CD's or radio.

Hawg wired works good for me.

I only play my phone or iPod, BUT very nice to be able to switch songs and control volume. can also access playlists etc.

I think it is a KIV 700. Kenwood.
Media player/no CD.
Has lots of adjustments for sound.
Plays videos also.
"Only when stopped"!!! Yeah.
I have BA 6.5s in the dash and Polk
Mm651 in the lowers.
Dynamat in the fairing.

Right now I have a sound stream amp in dash
sounds ok.
Not as good as a PDX in the bag.
But I wanted my bag space back for now.
