Inner Fairing Speakers & Amp

I have a quick question about adding speakers/amp in the inner fairing. I currently have a RF PBR 300x2 with J&M speakers in the standard location. I want to get a little more /better sound and plan to add the inner fairing speakers. Should I add another amp to power these or will I be able to run off the existing amp?

Thanks

It Will depend on your speaker impedance if your speakers are 4 ohms and get a second set of 4 ohms speakers you can run them in parrallel off your amp. If they are 2 ohms then you should get an other set of 2 ohms and run them in serie instead. It is not a good idea to run your amp at an impedance lower than 2 ohms overheat\ failure will result.

Thanks for the responses - sorry It's been awhile since I've had a chance to get back on this. Since my J&M's are 2 ohm (I think) and I don't want to replace them, I guess I need to get 2 ohm speakers for the inner fairing. Can anyone recommend a set of 2 ohm 6 1/2" speakers that work without having to hack the gloveboxes?

Thanks
