Dual lids or single

So wife told me I could buy myself a bday present. I'm torn between dual 6.5 or single 6x9 hogs. What do you guys think?

I went with the single Hog Tunes 6x9 just so I wouldn't lose much space in the bags... However, I wish I had seen this place before I bought mine.... They will Mod your lids, so no paint required.....

Did you call them to find that info out because their site doesn't have any info regarding custom services.

Dual 6x9...hmmm...possible option.

It's a small little blurb on the front page...

Don't own a Harley? We offer custom lid solutions for nearly any bagger including Yamaha, Suzuki, and Honda. Send us your OEM lids - we'll convert them to speaker lids and get them back to you in two weeks or less. Call for more information.

Just my opinion but all the dual 6.5 lids on the market look like crap. Single or double 6x9 lids are my vote

I just called them and they said it would be $50 off the listed price on their site which isn't that great. Just fyi for others.

I agree. "Most" of the 6x9 lids out retain the factory profile/appearance......I want the sound from them, not to make them a focal point of the bike, just my $.02

Good ain't cheap, cheap ain't good.......
