13 RCG Stage 1 Dyno results

I had a D&D 2 to 1 and S&S intake, performance baffle in the exhaust, didn't get as much as I had hoped but maybe I just expected too much...104 max torque and 85 HP...

Was this tuned or just a dyno run?

I think many of the ads for these up grades over shoot the actual additional performance you will actually see. I had the stage I kit installed and it did increase the torque and horse power but not to the degree advertised. My test was just a run before and after with no adjustment. My local HD dealer said they couldn't adjust or didn't want to adjust anything due to the weather. I am not a mechanic but was told due to the temps being around zero and the cooling fans at the dealership pull the air in from outside it would throw the calibration off. The engine would be tuned to the air temp and the bike wouldn't run right when it was 75 or 80 outside. Not sure if this is true as like I said I am not a mechanic. I dont have the results handy but thinking they were close to yours on my 2013 RG 103 with the stage I and V&N pipes/power chamber.

Is that HD Stage 1? If so, those are pretty good numbers. Especially the tq. Harley's full out Stage 4 only advertises 103 HP and just a bit more tq than you got in Stage 1.

That is well above average for a '13 stage 1. So why did you expect more? Where you looking at numbers for Rushmore bikes? You have to compare apple to apples....

I have a Zippers intake, VH Power Duals, Monster Ovals and just had the Race tuner but in and Dyno'd. It's better then that. And that was Dyno'd at HD. Mind you by a real competent tuner

this is for a HD stage 1, and I might have been looking at the rushmore bikes, now that you say it, I think the bike I was looking at was a '14 SG. I AM happy with the performance and I will be putting lots more into the engine. just basically wondering if this was good, but as one of you guys said, it is at or above average.
