Jims 135 Stock with Dragula Fang 2012 RG

Here is what we did so far with 100 miles on bike. We did not rev past 5700/5800 rpm.
We did 3 pulls SAE SM 5
4th
5th
6th
We have 100 miles on it and here is what we got so
We did 3 pulls 248 engine temp
4th gear 125.90HP 128.94TQ
5th gear 126.63HP 133.24TQ
6th gear 128.78HP 136.56TQ
Pulls you can see the differecne between 4 and 5 and 6 gear.

All stock 135 with Dragula Fang pipe.
wide open 13.afr pulls
13.8 cruise range.

Again this motor is new with some more miles on her and some more tuning I think we can get 130/135hp out of her.
But she runs real strong.... smooth........

I was very interested to see the actual difference 4th, 5th and 6th gear really make. I knew that a 6th gear dyno run gave better numbers, but I never knew exactly how much better.
Now when I look at different runs done in different gears I will be better able to compare them apples to apples.

Thanks Frank.

Wiz, on HD late model bikes 6th gear is 1:1 and will yield "actual" HP and Tq. 1:1 is a true representation as 4th or 5th gear runs will have slightly lower numbers due to gear reduction and parasitic loss, it is simple laws of physics. Depending on the specific bike, tuning product, and combination, many times you are not able to make runs in 6th, so runs are made in 5th. Regardless, looks like this 135 is a nice combination

Not bad numbers but for 9k and 135ci I would think it would be a little more. I am sure it runs strong though

Garage
for 9 grand I'd give Frank the go ahead and prolly beat the pee outta those numbers with my motor ..

Nevre figgered why , but peeps will dump 9 grand into a crate motor , when for way less than that , Frank could build your motor further than the stock 135
