Can anyone explain these results? '17 RGU Stage 1

-SO, i picked up my bike today before work, after having the stage 1 and dyno tune done at the dealer. Sure enough the results were ...questionable. So i asked them (paraphrasing the conversation here) "How TF are you guys getting results that rival a good stage II tune?" and he basically says "we add a lot of fuel to the tune". the conversation wasn't quite THAT short and the service guy that i was talking to seemed knowledgeable enough, saying things like they tune for torque and the horsepower will come as a result and agreeing the stock they are run lean etc...

-I think that this is the 1st time that ive seen a DYNOmite dyno sheet, do they give higher results than others? the sheet says "standard correction method", is there some hidden voodoo in their correction?

-Is the whole shabang fubar?

-the top of the sheet says @13-23-31 ...is that code for "throw an extra 5-10 hp and 15 ft-lbs on the sheet for this guys ego"?

-man im laughing at this, but id like to hear the reason ...or links that would explain how DYNOmite compares to others.

thanks
Jim

P.S. does anybody else read "DYNOmite" like Jimmie Walker?

I can't explain anything about your sheet, those are some nice looking numbers!

What tuner did you use? How does it run now compared to before?

...oh yeah, the details.
it's all screaming eagle. pro street tuner, street cannons and heavy breather.
it sounds like a harley now, not amazing but definitely doesnt sound neutered like it did stock. i think it runs better, but so far ive only driven it from the dealer to work with too much traffic to have some fun and from work home in the rain @ 04:00 ...so again, not much fun.

Check out some of the other threads, Fuel Moto does a nice comparison from the stock M8, to one that has been modified. Also when my bike was done, I used a PV Tuner. The shop said he could work with it and get better results than the SE brand. Mine is a Stage 3, 112HP and 120 torque. All done at a HD shop, with warranty.

It says "CTq" and "CHp". I understand that to mean crank horsepower and crank torque. So maybe they plotted an assumed crank value rather than actual wheel value.

Both chp ctq look like they are at the max of the tq and hp

If you doubt the result, get a second opinion. It don't cost all that much to get a pull and print.

The bottom of your sheet says, Correction Method: Standard, this could be the reason for slightly inflated numbers. Like Thermodyne said, get a second pull and print, just be sure it's SAE for more accurate numbers. If your butt Dyno is happy, that's all that really matters.

Get on that bad boy and take it for a proper ride! THAT'LL tell you what you need to know.

Is it significantly quicker now? If not....that dyno sheets BS'ing you. If it's a whole new machine? Then I'd say you got your moneys worth and great results..

Cheers!
