Thumbs up 103", VH Power Duals, Rhineheart 4" Mufflers, SERT, SE Air Schnorkle, SE259E cams.

Posted in windshield section on Windvest results. This will be for dyno tune results.

Had dyno tune performed yesterday. When I bought the bike, I had the H-D SE Stage 3 Racing kit installed. It came with 10.5:1 high comp pistons, the SERT, SE-259E cam, and all the needed parts and pieces. I also had the Heavy Breather and slotted cover installed at the same time. Exhaust that was installed was V&H Power Duals and Rhineheart 4" Slip-Ons. Shop downloaded an initial tune on the SERT for my combination that they thought would be close to start with until I had run around for 500 miles or so to let the piston rings take a good seat.

I wound up having the SERT dyno tuned at the H-D dealership, using their machine, with about 1100 miles on the motor. It was about 84 degrees outside when they tuned the bike and around 55% humidity. If it matters, I was only around 45-50 feet above sea level.

Dealer forgot to make a copy of the dyno results before tuning, so I don't have that. I haven't scanned the report in yet, but I will put a table with torque and HP and RPM to give an idea of where the motor is performing. I am happy with the 'felt' improvement in torque & power in the midrange vs. pre-dyno tune 'feel.'

RPM - Torque - HP
2800 92 47
3000 99 57
3400 110 72
3500 111 74
3800 112.8 82
4000 112 85
4500 108 92
5000 100 95
5500 93 97
5800 88 98.1

The dealer chart shows the dyno is a Dyno Jet with SuperFlow WinDyn V2.4, for what that's worth. I do not know what the corrected horsepower/torque figures will be to standard conditions. I will let somebody figure that. Doesn't really matter to me, I am happy with trying to hold on to my handgrips at anything above 3500 rpm! Whooo-hooo!!!!

These figures are my best guess at what the chart shows. I will take some time a little later and scan the chart and post it. Torque ramps up at a good rate through 3500rpm, then peaks between3600-3900 rpm, and has a shallow decrease through 5900 rpm. HP builds at a good rate through 4400 rpm, then builds a little slower slope on the curve from there to 5900.

I am happy!!! Now I just have to be careful not to get a riding award from local speed racing enforcement. Gotta ride smart, and not like a scalded bat flying away at high speeds.

I think you'll like your cam choice. Good power and pull by my seat of the pants dyno.

What was your max HP? I see you had SE heads. I was just wondering how much HP head work gets you for the buck. Thanks!
