Stage 3 Dyno Results.

Did a Stage 3 SE upgrade with stage 1 SE air breather, HD Tuner on a 18 RGS. Went from a 107 to a 114. Tab slip-ons. Stock header. Sound is fabulous. Only 5 degrees with a bunch of snow so I wont be out riding in the near future.

Please give me your opinion of the Dynojet results.

Went with all HD so i wouldnt void my extended warranty.

Not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. Have not seen a lot of dyno numbers personally for the Stage III kits. Not sure how much time you had in the seat before the upgrade? Your butt dyno will be the judge. I totally get going all HD to stay in warranty. Dyno's vary and the temp looks like it was pretty cool during run at about 54 degrees, so don't know if that helps or hurts the run dynamics?? It just seems like a big expense for 20hp gain. Like the torque numbers though. Been going back and forth with where to go with mine. Not worried about warranty, as mine is expired and did not purchase ESP. Have seen Fuelmoto dyno numbers on the 107's with just header and cam change breaking 100 using a couple different Woods cams. I actually tour with mine, so not sure their 124" build is for me. I would like to gain more torque on low and mids primarily. Thinking possibly the 117" kit with a decent cam and their header should put good torque numbers and get me in the 120hp range. Which baffles did you go with for the Tab slip ons? I have been looking at those hard for a bit more noise. Worried if I go with the Zombie baffles and run a cat-less header that it might be a bit much. Nice thing is that they are fairly easy to change to a different baffle. Let us know how she rides. As long as you are happy with it, that is all that matters..

That torque curve looks very ridable. Nice! Gives excellent low end where most guys are all the time. The roll-on should be sweet as well. I'd say you did well unless you were looking to be a dyno chart king for a nice poster in your garage for bragging rights.

I'd be happy with that for great everyday riding. Plus you've probably got a very dependable engine not on the "edge."

I went with the TABs because I wanted a more rumble than stock and my salesman recommended them. They are not the zombie. Salesman told me that with Stage 3 I wouldnt like how loud the Zombies would be. It sounds great.

I was just looking for a little more get up and go and good power with rider on with me. Also put on the AIM light Force slave cylinder, which is really nice. About half the pull poundage on the clutch. Also put on cool flow fan to keep the heat down. It should be a good cruisin bike.

It's a 4th gear pull (to keep MPH down to tune higher in the RPM range). For a motor that has a warranty and numbers would be higher in higher gear, you're good. The real test is how you like the way it rides anyways. Remember the dyno is a tuning tool also so don't get too caught up in the numbers until you ride it.

Chasing BIG numbers is fun and EXPENSIVE. I've been bitten many times. OUCH

I get what you're saying. This is only my second HD. I bought my first one (07 Road King Classic) in August of 2017 just to see if I wanted to start riding again after 30 years and 3 kids later. I traded the RK for this 18 RGS this past June and love it. I just wanted a little more out of it.

I have the same stage 3 set up as you with street cannons. I did not dyno tune, I had the smart tune pro added instead. I picked up my bike in October and got 850 miles on it before the weather turned.

Its funny to see the sheet on your bike because the power curve is exactly where my butt dyno sayes it is. It pulls really well 3k and up, I hope you are as satisfied as I am.

Hopefully the snow goes away soon and we both get a chance to ride.
