About 280 attended Sharkweek VIII if memory serves me right. To the other question, there is a sign up page here on the forum and on the FB page, Roadglide.org National Rally. If any questions, pm Tracy Basham here on the forum.

Whole month off and in the area? You need to come to SW. Street Gliders at SW? Sure...why not? If they are a friend of your then they are a friend of ours. Besides, we need someone to ridicule. Seriously... we love our sharks but we do not care what you or your guest rides.

Here's a link to register. We ask that all attendees register. Go to the bottom of the sheet and add your information.

Your cousin will end up buying a Shark after he spends a few days with the RG family. I hope you make it. We have been at this for nine years and it just gets better every year. This year's hosts are great guys and will make it an awesome event. Once you are here, hang out and converse, ride and and develop new friends with the with the RG Family you will find what is an event that is less about the bikes and more about the relationships that we continue to build on each year.

Happy New Year

Booking info is at the start of this message.

Yes, your cousin is welcome, but he has to wash all the Road Glides, and buy everyone a beer.

In theory, Theory and Reality are the same. In reality, they are different.

Is there anybody from the southeast going to make this journey? I will probably ride up but have to ship my bike and fly back just due to vacation time restrictions.

Take a look at the GoogleDocs sheet and sort by state, that'll give you an idea who from your area is attending.

2018 Road Glide Special Wicked Red SVT BoneShaker Exhaust, RCX Tormentor Headers, FP3, Vance & Hines VO2 Naked Air Intake, AIMS Light Force Slave Cylinder, Legends REVO-A Shocks

Please do not do that. Leave the sheet sorted as is.

Shark Week IX Hotel Booking Information

From Smarty & Shrug

First, a heartfelt thanks to
Desertwndrr, hd4cruZin, Stray Mutt, TracyB, and all who assisted them in coordinating and pulling off the amazing Shark Week VIII in Durango. Smarty and I are humbled to be entrusted with the opportunity to do justice to those who supported our bid for SWIX. We are eager to step up to the challenge and raise the bar yet again next year.

The host hotel information is confirmed and their event booking staff has been advised about our groupís enthusiasm. As we stated during our pitch at SW VIII, our goal is to provide a single location that can meet our unique needs as motorcyclists and that can host our entire group. In that pursuit, we have secured an excellent property that consists of three fully functional hotels offering over 300 rooms under one roof. Cadillac Jackís Resort in Deadwood offers spacious rooms, multiple restaurants/bars, a casino, gathering spaces, as well as free dedicated secure open and covered motorcycle parking. The property is walking distance from historic Deadwood (with free shuttles available) and is only 13 miles from Sturgis.

Attendees can reserve rooms from any of the three hotels on the premise as each propertyís availability permits. Remember that all three are under one roof, are offering the same room rates, and that amenities including complimentary hot breakfast are available to all of our attendees. All rooms are similar in space and bed size choices.

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE MESSAGE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BOOK!
If you want to attend the rally in Sturgis prior to SWIX, scroll down to the Pre-SWIX paragraph for a very limited special rate offer.

------------------------------------------

SpringHill Suites Deadwood at Cadillac Jackís - $144.00/night
The SpringHill Suites offers some rooms with two queen beds and 1-1/2 baths. These rooms are excellent for SWIX attendees who want to share a room with another rider and split the cost.

Finally, we created an email address for handling SWIX issues and addressing concerns. [email protected] will be monitored and used for direct replies to those using it. Pertinent information beneficial to the group will be shared in the Forums as is appropriate. Feel free to express yourself in the forums on Facebook or RoadGlide.org, but understand that if requested, we can respond to you privately via this email address.
My wife and I are in, made reservations today. I understand there is a Facebook page? How do I stay in touch with plans as they developed? I understand there was a Facebook page last time?
