Plenty of ladies each year. My wife said the same thing 6 years ago when she said she would go to SW four in Maine. She has been to every one since and waits for the event each year.

Think about your wife taking you to her knitting and quilting retreat for your birthday. 😉

That would suck because I prefer crocheting and scrapbooking.

1600 miles from the Front Range to PA. Will probably take 3 days and go through KY and pick up some of our new SW friends on the way.

Yup, 1604 miles for us from Denver. Figuring 3 days. We have Boricua and his wife stopping thru to pick us up and ride on to Gettysburg.

Where can I get more info about this event? I can't seem to find anything else about SWX.

I'm sure Hutmo will be posting information soon about SW X. I'm no expert on SW's since this was my first year of being able to make one. Just keep watching in this area.

It is 1,500-1,600 miles from Colorado Springs so 2-long days or 3 easier days depending on sights "to be seen" along the way. I was playing with Ride Planner on a route staying on US-36 most of the way. This avoids the cluster f**k of riding on I-70 through Kansas City, St. Louis and Indianapolis avoiding the never ending semis that also take 20-miles to pass one another. There are more scenic southern routes but probably hotter than carp in August. I'll likely re-do the map a 100 times between now and then...

Would be 477 miles (day trip) for me. Not sure, but I think the dates conflict with our 2 week camping trip next year. Been wanting to get to Gettysburg bike week for awhile now and this would’ve given me the excuse to go and stay a little longer for SW.
