Face lift # 2

I started this bike with black bars and black pipes, now I've changed gears and am heading in a new direction. This build is going to be more geared towards comfort and performance. Granted I'm not going to cut any corners with it's looks, but it's going to be more subtle in appearance.

I'll post pictures from the day i bought it being all stock through my first build, all the way to tearing it down again and building it to what it is now.

I'll list the things I did in the first build.

Rinehart 4" Black slipons
V&H Black Power Duals
Power Commander V
Black OEM Paul Yaffe Monkey Bars (Internally wired by me)
Paul Yaffe black power mirrors
black Paul Yaffe turn signal eliminators
Black HD get a grip hand grips
hidden antenna
10" HD windshield
HD dark custom air cleaner cover

Second build will consist of;
16" chrome Wild1 Chubby Ape Hangers
Chrome HD get a grip hand grips
Barnett platinum brake and clutch cables/lines
12" dark smoked HD windsplitter windshield
Streamline foot controls and pegs
Power Commander V
FuelMoto (Jackpot) 2-1-2 (X Pipe) w/ceramic coating and stock chrome heat shields
FuelMoto (Jackpot) 4.5" Pro Touring mufflers with carbon fiber ring
Hidden antenna
CNC solo seat
Polyurethane riser bushings
2 1/4" extended heal shift lever
HD painted to match lower fairings
Extended floorboard mounting brackets (push the floorboards outwards from the frame about an inch)

So far I have done all the work on it.

Future mods that I won't be able to do the work on will be;
Wood 777 Cams and FuelMoto B head work.
and dynojet autotune to work in conjunction with my Power Commander V

this is the tear down after the first build and the start of the second build with the 16" apes. yes if any of you have fed wires through the OEM Monkey bars, you are probably thinking that I must be crazy to have gone through all the pain and frustration of feeding those wires and now changing them out to other bars.

The brown truck came today and delivered my solo seat, and jackpot 2/1/2 header and 4.5" mufflers with carbon fiber end caps! The bars are all wired (Except for the throttle wire). my extended rear shift lever came as well. now i'm just waiting for the platinum braided steel cables and wire extensions. Those might be here tomorrow. if not then by friday! pretty soon it'll all be back together.

I finished almost everything. I don't think I'll ever really be finished, there's just soooo much that can be done! I think later I'll figure out some wicked paint, and little details along the way. Chrome lower forks and lowering kit on front and rear will definitely be happening sometime. I have lower fairings ordered from the local HD Dealer, i think they will be here in about 4 or 5 weeks. Then I'll put em on and eventually put speakers in them. But the main stuff is done.
