Red Hot Denim paint matching

I'm taking the plunge to have my inner fairing painted to match my bike. With the red hot denim, should I just bite the bullet & buy the HD paint or take a chance on having my painter match it?

Do not buy the dealer parts counter HD paint! It never matches!

The PPG formula "Red Hot Sunglo 922609"matches perfect, I've shot several parts with no issues at all.

The SEM HRC40 flat clear kit is the perfect sheen clear to do that job.

Mike is being kind because based on his work he does an awesome job. My painter works hard and will not quit until he gets it right but it took a couple of passes to get my rear fender and CVO rear matched but he got. It seems to me that the clear coat is critical. Again, I would trust Mike.

I'm not a painter so I know nothing about this but he did say Red Hot "Denim". Sunglow soulds like it would be glossy. If I'm way off just forget I said anything.

Yep, it's the same color only with denim clear over it
