Question Wiring Help Needed

I have a 2011 RGU on which I am installing Tour-Pak docking station along with the rear fascia w/ tri-bar light, and the SG/RGC signal bar with tag light, to put the license plate lower on the fender. The three wires from tri-bar light will plug into the available location on the existing tail light circuit board. It seems to me that the wires from the tag light need to be plugged into the same location, just not using the center pin. Is there a clean way to do this without splicing into the wiring?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thanks lundboy1. I'll see if I can find those wires on my bike. Is there any reason not to make a "Y" adapter and plug into the circuit board in the tail light housing?

Personal preference really ... The circuit behind the side cover was easier than splicing to the tail and from a trouble shooting stand point the fewer splices or connections in an electrical circuit the fewer opportunities for an open circuit
