DYC Has anyone tried this...

Not sure how I came across this today, I think searching on how to do painting you tube videos. I am looking to paint a couple parts of my bike myself. Primarily the crash bar and the inner fairing. So I happen to see this dip your car company. Product looks interesting. What I think I am most interested in is the carbon fiber copy kit they sell. Thought my denium black would look cool with a carbon fiber looking inner fairing. Anyway check it out and give me your thoughts...

They've been around a while and there are other threads that talk about it. Some of the folks here have tried it and provided feedback. You should do a search. Interesting stuff for sure.

Your whole inner Fairing is a nightmare to do with those kits and get seems etc to line up. For little parts like your gauge clusters, tank dash etc it would work great. I think the inner would present many problems with all the angles and size. I looked pretty good into this and it's really a detailed process if done by a professional. I was quoted 600 for my inner with paint base. Just FYI
