Paint inside the glove boxes? how about the hinges?

Hello guys. Please help. I pulled my inter for paint. Taking to a body shop so they don't have much experience with of these. Should I have them paint inside of the glove boxes or not? If not.......do you tape the lip and run the paint to the lip or did you paint the lip? How about the inside/underside of the doors.......paint or not paint? Last question......hinges? Paint or not? I'm going with vivid black so it they wont stand out that much anyway.

I remove the lids and mask the whole hinge assy at the line where it meets the lower edge of the lid, I also mask at the outside of the lip and paint up to it.

I've never seen the hinges painted. I would only assume the reason being is that it is a hinge. It would probably chip. Mine is getting painted real soon and i will not paint the hinge.

Im just gonna leave it unmasked. It will over spray into it but I have liners that drop in so itll be covered.

No reason to disassemble the hinges, just mask them off as an assembly, and just for kicks I always mask the underside of the lid...overspray looks tacky,

Here you can see how I masked the hinge Assy on these lids I did some gold leaf work on,

Thanx guys,

That was a fun project, reminded me of the old red fire trucks with all the nice leaf work on them.

I put run/turn LED's in the outer fairing stripe on this bike,
