Deluxe Hinge Question

I have a set of deluxe Tour Pack hinges that I want to color match when I paint the RG. I am thinking I need to dis-assemble the hinge so I can get even paint on all surfaces. Has anyone ever tried to take this hinge apart? If so, how did you do it. The pin appears to be pressed in since it does not go all the way through the part. Not sure I want to drill it until I get some advice from someone that has taken this thing apart before.
I have attached a few pictures of what hinge I am referring to. I am just worried that I may have trouble getting paint between the two hinge pieces. Especially when it comes to clear coat.

Just pick up a pair of black ones, will take less prep and build up since you won't have to add a primer coat. I was surprised how inexpensive those deluxe hinges are! Best deal in the catalog

Thanks for the input

I will try to tap them out. I did buy the black ones Roadhwawk but fiured I would have to strip them down, so I did that. I think I will just try to take a saw blade and try to open up the gap at this point. That is if the pins won't just tap out.
Thanks again for the input though. At least now I know how to do it if I ever try this again!
