DIY paint

looked around for painters to do my 2002 RG,with the 124" & 6 speed im doing,didnt have 2500.00 -3500.00 guys wanted.got a harbor freight portable garage (dust proof spray booth) and doing it my self.graphics & clear over the weekend

I was thinking about doing something like that myself on a few different things before I attempted to attack my RG. I say if you can do it you should do it

Looks good man. I'm actually body working my rear topshop fender and gonna paint for the first time myself. What primer are you using? How's the process going so far for you?

im a machinist & engine builder,never painted anything before.got some good advice from my local paint shop & friends who are painters.i say don't be afraid to try,its not that hard (very time consuming though!!)

got everything clear coated,just need to buff (have about 1/2 done now) will post pics next week when done.

finally getting it back together,paint turned out very nice.no orange peel after buffing
