Inner Fairing painted color other than primary bike color or black?

I know this is totally wrong but I will ask.....

Has anyone painted the inner fairing a color other than black or the primary color of the bike? The secondary color / complimentary color?

I have a '13 Candy Orange being matte blacked out. My seat is a Tan Corbin Rumble seat that really pulls the pin stripes out. For some crazy reason I was thinking... see, thinking always gets a man in trouble... and thought a matching tan on the inner might look good. Besides, to may stories of candy being expensive and not matching all the time.

Pictures, no flames please.

I can see the inner done in the same tan as the pinstripes on a candy orange bike.

I chose midnight pearl for the inner to go with brilliant silver pearl rest of the bike. Made a nice contrast but not plain ole black for the inner!

I can vouch for how sharp Arkies bike looks with the inner fairing color he went with. Turned out real nice and not something you see everyday. But I got no pics

A color match is the only way to go unless you have a two tone paint job. Just my opinion.
