QUIXX Scratch Remover
I help out a fellow rider with her bike occasionally and I found a product that I thought I would pass on to everyone. Walmart carries it and it's called QUIXX Scratch remover and after trying it today, I have to say it works really well. She had a deep scratch on the back of her Streetglide saddlebag and I could catch it with a fingernail. I used the QUIXX 3000 grit (comes in the box) and lightly wet sanded the scratch. Then used the two part (part 1 scratch remover and part 2 polish compound) and it completely eliminated the scratch. Very impressive product. I took care of a couple of tank scratches using just the polisher tube. Just rub for 1-2 minutes, wipe off the residue and wax. Scratches completely gone with no haze. The cost is $14 for the kit. Suggested retail was $21.
I don't have any financial interest in the QUIXX product or Walmart. Just passing along a recommendation on a product I found that really works on paint and clear coat.
