$1300 sucks. I found mine on ebay. Chinese ones. Painter said they weren't terrible to work with. I spent either $400 or $500 on them. Eastern Performance also sells just the lower bags.

I love the fact that these come in factory color match- as long as its either black denim or vivid black! these guys must own black street glides as well!

Stats show the most popular color for Harleys........wait for it.......BLACK - Why not focus on the mainstay and not worry about keeping up with the new colors that come out every year - Smaller shops need to protect the bottom line and this is a great way to do so - Plus, keeps the painters busy

It's kinda like a new bike.....you could have the old ones painted with some fancy design and then it would almost be like having two bikes, just switch it up whenever you felt like it. Get a 2nd outer fairing with a different windshield and then it would look totally different.

Had the same idea for my bike...after paying HD for their version of "stretched bags". The HD bag stretch isn't full length and as you state, pretty pricey. Ended up getting the Advan Black set (https://www.advanblack.com/color-ma...addlebag-bottoms-for-harley-2014-touring.html) and am quite happy. Sprung for the matching rear fender extension as well.

Hoping someone on eBay bails me out of some of the $$$ expended for the HD bags.

you spent more $ on Dominos & hair mousse during the week in Cherokee:)
HEY!!!! - The # was RIGHT there on the room key and they deliver to "The Rock Wall in the parking Lot"

And its "Goon Grease' ya big sum bitch.........Hair Mousse.......what is this, 1982?

I am leaning towards the $400 eBay ones but like the $500 ones as I can get info on the Co - Can't find anything on the eBay Co

Mutazu is getting a pass from the photo evidence because Gina was an absolute angel to work with, but it didn't make the quality of the bags I received from them any better. Bless her heart, she really tried. HogWorkz on the other hand was laughable. Here is the response I got from them after sending in a RMA request, and then follow up email and pictures;

"Jerry-
Like I had previously stated we have guys with 4.5” install these all the time and do not have any issues with the bags. Also, from our experience if the fit is close on them there are the two things you can do to either adjust the bags or the exhaust for better placement."

Fortunately for me I bought the Hogworkz bags from DK and they made it right by paying for return shipping and giving me a full refund.

Now you may have better luck than me (Swomack bought the Mutazu extended bags and he sounded completely happy with his purchase). For me, after trying on three different attempts to get a decent set of bags from Mutazu and Hogworkz, I finally bit the bullet and ordered TopShop bags painted and shipped from the FactoryMatch. They cost me a fortune, but the quality is impeccable.

As stated before, Swomack seems to be very happy with his Mutazu bags/tour pack & I think forum members get a discount. Plus I think they have good customer service & shouldn't be a problem returning them if you didn't like them. Don't think -$1300-1400 factory match bags are good for you anyways, your gonna scrape the shit out of them in those twisties in Chicago :p

For the record

My bags look good.

Are they absolutely perfect, NO.

But neither am I.

They are what I could afford and the extra storage and the overall look, yes I'm happy with these bags.

If you are a perfectionist then you will want to spend the big money.

I just couldn't see spending well over $ 1,200 to $ 1,400 for bags.

I also purchased their premium Razor Pak and it also really worked out well.

The Vivid paint was a great match on both the bags & razor.

Gina is great and if you decide to go that route, she will take good care of you for sure.

Tell her Womack sent you and she will give you a discount.

You must have the magic touch, as I did a google search earlier today and could not find one picture of a single side with the factory fender. And your search shows 2, and it kind of looks bad which is what I was afraid of. Most of the sites either don't have a single side option (the bags under $500) or they do but add the picture with an extended fender. And no one I've found yet (again sub $500 bags) makes an extended fender in single side for a 2012 unfortunately.

I could, but I really like the look of a single side. I recently ordered a new pipe, had a Thunderheader and got a Basani, and almost got the regular 2 outlet, but ordered the single side instead. So I'll have to live with it.
