Lowers

Looking to install lowers on my 13RGC I was going to order TMCT off Amazon based upon pretty good reviews except one person told me they hit the upper fairing on the road glide. Looking for recommendations on which ones and or if any one knows if he TMCT do indeed hit the fairing Thanks in advance guys

I have them on my '15. Fit and finish is great. Only thing is I had to get a larger clamp for the bottom as the diameter of the crash bar is larger than what they sent. Only a couple of bucks at the local hardware store. The top fit just fine. I figured too, for the beating they're going to take, why pay twice as much for HD.

I have a 13 RGC and ordered lowers from AdvanBlack on Amazon, the paint and finish was great however it is shipped from china so you have to wait at least 3 weeks before you will get them, unfortunately I did receive a damaged part and they said they are on holiday but will send me a replacement after their holiday is over, I haven't had it out in the sun but so far it does look great, only complaint is the sliding vents seem a little flimsy but I will completely decide once I get them on the road.

I am not a huge picky person but do take pride in the things that go on my bike, you can be the judge of how they look.

As for hitting the lower fairing I have about an inch clearance from fairing to lowers, unless there is a magical piece I dont believe my fairing has been raised, however there maybe others on here that have had these with a different experience.

you can decide....

Hey guys thank you for your replies and your bikes look great. I ordered them up and see what happens. worst case I can always sell them at a swap meet.

they look like they are direct knockoffs of hd fairing lowers. the only reason that they would hit the fairing is if the under had a pre 2010 road glide. in 2010, hd changed the mounting which lifted it up an inch and tilted it slightly. if it fits a batwing, it'll fit a roadglide. (at worst, you'll have to trim the piece on the top cap that fits on the top of the crash bar to make room for the fairing mounts)

I understand the concept of reality, but find it too confining for a way of life.
