Cool Extended Saddlebags and Exhaust Pipes Heat Concerns

I have recently put new 4.5Ē extended saddlebags on my 2017 Road Glide. I also have Vance and Hines dual slash cut slip on exhaust pipes. After putting the new bags on my bike, I noticed that the extended bags seem awfully close to the exhaust pipes. They don't touch but look awful close. Should I be concerned about the heat from the pipes being so close to the saddlebags? If so, what can I do about it to protect the bags? Any help and/or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You won't have any real issues as long as they aren't rubbing. I've had a similar setup for a few years and haven't had any problems.

Do you have any pics? If the pipes are not centered & seem closer to one side you can loosen clamps and adjust them slightly but if they arenít rubbing I donít think you should have any issues

I have 4.5" extended bags along with the V&H power duals & twin slash slip-on's on my 2015 RGS.

My bike also has 0ver 50,000 miles so I can tell you first hand that you have nothing to worry about.

Zero issues brother.

No problems here either. Rush H-Pipe + HD Street Cannons. The left pipe looks really close, but it's an optical illusion because of the bike tilt.
