had the side covers repainted.

got tired of looking at the scratches on the side covers . final straw was the wife really put a nasty one on it with her boot. took them to a body shop where i know the guy from different dealings over the years with his bussinees and my place of work.

he taped off the rootbeer graphic and went at it. they look good as new as they should.
100.00 cash. i feel was well worth it. he said the clear coat he put on should eliminate the accidental rubs.
i all ready put lid covers on after christmas.

if i were more tech savy i would post a pic. when the wife would get on or off occasionally being lazy and her foot would hit it instead of being careful not to. but its soon to be 7 years old , so it wasnt all the time.
not the bags, the small side covers i speak of.
i was afraid there would be sort of a seam where he taped off the rootbeer sticker but there is none.
