ignition switch filler

Hi Guys,

I have a 2016 road glide special.

There is a horseshoe shaped plastic "filler piece" that goes around the ignition switch that some light fingered soul decided would look better on his bike than mine.

I have searched and searched but I cant find a supplier.

If anyone knows where I could get this part (or preferably a metal one) would they please give me a heads up?

Thanks and Regards

That horseshoe thingy?

Ordered one through a local dealer. Check online, I'm sure you can find a cheaper one out there. Utah Harley seems to pop up a lot and has decent prices.

It will at least get going in the right direction

If you want to save a ton of money (and need the chrome one) here you go;

If you want to save a ton of money (and need the black one) here you go;

If you prefer gloss black you could always scuff up the matte and spray some gloss black on yourself.

When you get the new one if you don't already know, it only takes very light pressure to snap it into place. It is not a big snap that takes some pressure. If you find while installing it that you have to force it back off and re-align and try it again. Many people have broken them trying to snap it into place.

The POS prolly fell off by itself. My 2nd one didn't even last for 1 ride. I knew that they were junk, and tried to be meticulous . Nope. I made a replacement out of aluminum flat stock. I posted a write up in the do it yourself section
