There are a few good choices of hidden fairing brackets that you can run and not have to worry about this.
I was more interested in seeing it due to the fact that everything I've read about it says you need the shorty highway bar for it to work.

Not sure how much support two plastic nubs clamped to a crash bar are going to give the fairing.

The Fang Spoiler fairing I'm not that worried about. I was referring to the support brackets for the Road Glide fairing that mount to the stock engine guard. If you do not support the back of the main fairing you will run into issues down the road. If you are running that support piece that comes with the mustache engine guard then you are fine. It can be bought separately.

The nubs on the spoiler use rubber P clamps that wrap around the chopped engine guard. Mainly that is to help (I believe) keep the fairing from wanting to flex or shake. With your setup, the bottom cover is pushed into the rubber grommets on the oil cooler, then bolted to the left and right side pieces and then those are bolted to the bottom of the fairing. I would be concerned that, in essence, the entire lower half of you spoiler is counting on the 2 plastic nipples to not pop out of the rubber grommets.

Like has already been said, the main thing for the supporting the fairing is to use the upper, hidden bar that comes with the chopped guard. That way you aren't just counting on the 4 bolts at the neck mount to hold everything.

I went in yesterday to ask about the support bar that comes with with the chopped guard. The parts guy was a bit confused but told me the support bar itself was $170 dollars. That doesn't seem right since the whole kit is $299. Maybe someone else could see if there is a part number for the support only. @crazy4ink

Found it at Surdyke.com for $140 part number 47200354. Anything over $149 is free shipping.
