Protective Film on Harley Denim

Picking up a 2019 Special Denim Red in a couple weeks. On my last bike I put film on the tops of the saddle bags, as my wife always manages to scuff the lids with her boot. The film worked good on my glossy paint job but wondering how it looks on denim. I see that they make it for denim paint but does it make it look to glossy?

I put it on the lids of my last bike for the same reason, it was denim. It made it look like gloss.

Thanks, interesting article. The problem is if I don't put something on the lids and they get boot scuffed there is no way to repair the lid. My other option is a vinyl bag lid bra that would be very obvious looking.

Who did you get your film from? Did you leave it on or did you do something else?

Harley Davidson. Part # 11100028A. Long story short I got rid of the bike not long after I put it on.
